The renovation of the Vierhavenstraat into Parklane goes hand in hand with the development of a huge complex: an 8 hectare park on the roof of a new building providing retail and commercial space – a large-scale example of double use of space. This park will link the Merwe- Vierhavens and the outlying district of Bospolder. The existing railway tracks are no longer in use and will be removed.
